Why did you join Innosight?
What most impressed me about Innosight when I was considering joining back in 2015, and what remains my greatest source of excitement about our firm, is the people who I am privileged to work alongside. They come from diverse backgrounds and are exceptionally talented. At every level – from Analyst through to Senior Partner – they inspire and challenge me every day.
What’s your life like outside of Innosight?
I love running! My goal is to run a marathon in the near future. It’s on my to-do list. I am a dancer too. I choreographed on 3 performances during my time at Yale. The love for dancing runs in my family and choreographing a performance whilst at Yale was an unbelievable cultural touchstone. I look forward to continuing dancing in Boston!
Why did you join Innosight?
Innosight was founded on the brilliant theories of the late Clay Christensen, whose work continues to inspire us and help us navigate—and solve—our clients’ most pressing problems. When I took the class that Clay designed at Harvard Business School, I was immediately bought in as I saw the incredible impact his thinking could have on helping large companies survive and positively impact the communities that depend on them. That mission is what attracted me to Innosight and what keeps me deeply committed to the work we do every day.
What was your favorite Case? Why?
My favorite case was working with a global enterprise software company to allocate over a hundred million dollars of investment on innovation initiatives. Although the work was challenging, the team that I worked with was incredible. I had the opportunity to help manage Analysts for the first time, which helped me build empathy for their role and allowed me to serve as a mentor. The work that we did was very impactful for the client and I also enjoyed working on a two-office team: part of my time was spent in our Lexington office and the other part in our Swiss office. Working on this project gave me an appreciation for the strength of Innnosight’s culture and IP across borders and offices.
